A fundraising event to benefit the Martha's Vineyard Shellfish Group and the Edgartown Shellfish Growers Association will take place on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.

The Vineyard Haven restaurant that rose from the ashes of a Main street fire five years ago has been placed on the market for sale. The bistro reopened in October 2012 and closed last month. The asking price is $1.25 million.
