Celebrations
Coburn Darling Everdell Jr. and Alice Lillian Brooks Askew were married in Memphis, Tenn., on Oct. 11, 2008.
The bride is the daughter of Mark West Askew and Rebecca Berlin Askew of Memphis. Her father is a founding partner of Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt, Engineers; her mother is an interior designer. Her grandparents are Gene Berlin and Lee Askew, both of Memphis.
The bride graduated from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University with a degree in vocal performance. She is an actress.
Women’s Network
The Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network will host a night of networking and reconnecting after a busy summer on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. under the Decorator Show House tent at 105 Main street in Edgartown. Everyone also will have a chance to tour the show house, which benefits Habitat for Humanity.
Light food and beverages will be served.

Melanie Dickson of Vineyard Haven announces the birth of a son, Michael James Dickson, born on August 21, 2009, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Michael weighed seven pounds at birth.
Andrew Arrives
Alex and Amy Finkelstein of Wellesley, announce the birth of a son, Andrew John Finkelstein, born on August 26, 2009, at Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston. Andrew weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and is welcomed by big sister Emma.
Rayssa Arrives
Laudiceia Evangelista Donato and Adelson Donato of Edgartown announce the birth of a daughter, Rayssa Mel Evangelista Donato, born on August 28, 2009, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Rayssa weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces at birth.
