Tufts Degree

Duncan Pickard of Edgartown graduated from Tufts University on May 23 with a bachelor of arts degree in history, American studies and Middle Eastern studies, all magna cum laude.

Mr. Pickard was also named to the spring dean’s list at Tufts University.

Patricia and Rodrigo Assis of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a baby boy, Kyan Oliveira Assis, on June 27 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Kyan weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces at birth; he joins big sisters Kylee and Kaelah.

Michelinne Cardoso and Jadivan DaSilva of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Victor Carvalho DaSilva, on Sunday, June 27 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Victor weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Angela and Josh Aronie of West Tisbury announce the birth of a son, Eli Gunner Elvis Danzer Aronie, on June 26 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Eli weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces at birth.
