Remonia Rodney and Rohan Doctor of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Rohana Jahmelia Rodney, born on Nov. 3 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Rohana weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces at birth.

Leslie and Tobias Myers of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Jesse Augustus Myers, born on Nov. 2 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Jesse weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. Jesse joins siblings Lily and Tanner.

Quinn and Stephen Savard of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Gideon Mark Savard, born on Nov. 6 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Gideon weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth. He is welcomed by big brother Eamon, 7, and big sister Nola, 4.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 10:30 a.m., the Josiah Quincy Elementary School in Boston will dedicate the auditorium to the late Mary Elizabeth Shugrue, known as Molly. A former Chilmark summer resident, Molly was a student at the Quincy School from 1989 until 1993. Her passion for the stage began as a member of the school’s Chinese Dance Troupe, which performs at Chinese New Year celebrations and other Boston functions.
