Kyle and Korrine Altieri have been named to the dean’s list at their respective schools for their first semesters of college. Kyle attends Westfield State University in Westfield and is majoring in criminal justice. Korrine attends the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. and is studying nutrition.

Brianna Buchanan of Vineyard Haven has been named to the dean’s list at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. for the fall semester.

Jeffie Butler and Kevin Sheehan announce the birth of a son, Orrin Thomas Sheehan, born on Jan. 16 at Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, Colo. Orrin weighed 8 pounds. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Len Butler of Aquinnah and Mrs. Mary Ellen Sheehan and the late Mr. James Sheehan of East Longmeadow. Orrin joins big sister Maeve.

Henriqueta Barroso and Jairton Dias of Edgartown announce the birth of a daughter, Jamily Barroso Dias, born on Jan. 12, 2013 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Jamily weighed 9 pounds at birth.
