Ghostly Gadabouts

Swimmers and sunbathers aren’t the only people moaning for their Vineyard summers to begin. There’s also the plethora of Island ghosts who habitually haunt the downtown streets of the Vineyard. But they are a shy lot, often passing unseen, through and around you.

Oak Bluffs Harbor Festival, Faeries Too

Harbors are for boats, right? Not necessarily. This Saturday, Oak Bluffs Harbor will be packed with food, faeries, and fireworks.

The annual Harbor Festival, celebrating the summer solstice and approaching season, starts with a stretch of over 40 vendors selling arts, crafts, antiques and food. There will also be non-profits talking about their missions and plenty of live music.
