Frank Foltz, the owner of Sundog, a men’s clothing store in Edgartown, hasn’t been around much. Instead of greeting his customers at the store, the active 77-year-old entrepreneur has been spending his time up in Jones Falls, Ontario, running a recently acquired 133-year-old historic hotel.

The Hotel Kenney, which comprises a number of buildings and even a small concert hall and docks, is being revitalized as one of the community’s top attractions.

The Martha’s Vineyard Donors Collaborative has started a new project to create an Islandwide volunteer database.

Elizabeth and Eduardo Nunes of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Agatha Eliza, on June 22 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Agatha weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces at birth.

Michelinne Cardoso and Jadivan DaSilva of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Victor Carvalho DaSilva, on Sunday, June 27 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Victor weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Angela and Josh Aronie of West Tisbury announce the birth of a son, Eli Gunner Elvis Danzer Aronie, on June 26 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Eli weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces at birth.

Patricia and Rodrigo Assis of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a baby boy, Kyan Oliveira Assis, on June 27 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Kyan weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces at birth; he joins big sisters Kylee and Kaelah.
