When the Old Whaling Church clock chimed 11 a.m. on Saturday, anticipation was high for the 34th annual Christmas parade, one of the marquee events of Christmas in Edgartown weekend.

The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School varsity football team lost 3-0 on Sunday afternoon to Bishop Feehan. The game was rescheduled from Friday night and came at the tail end of a stormy weekend with rain and wind.
