Male Dancing Revue
Men in Motion, a male revue show, returns to Outerland on Airport Road, Edgartown today, Friday, May 16.
The R-rated Chippendales-style show will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door. This is a event for people 21 and older. Men in Motion performed last November at Outerland.

The Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company will present Mayne Mentshn, a poignant celebration of family life in a complex world, on Saturday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center
Tickets are available at several levels. Admission for $100 includes premium seating and a post-performance supper party with the cast at the home of the president of The Yard, Emerita Elanie Miller, in Vineyard Haven. Tickets also are available for $50 for premium seating and $10 for general admission.
A series of events are scheduled this weekend and next week as culminating activities of the year for the visual and performing arts departments at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.
Between the Lines, an original play written for the Massachusetts High School Drama Guild Competition, will be performed at the Grange Hall at 7:30 pm. today, Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 in West Tisbury.
Fisheries Discussion
The Menemsha Fisheries Development Fund 2008 Lecture Series presents a discussion on the state of the Massachusetts fishing industry from a regulatory and policy perspective on Wednesday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Chilmark Public Library.
The lecture features special guests Paul Diodati, director of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, and John Pappalardo, chairman of the New England Fisheries Development Council and member of the Massachusetts Marine Fishery Advisory Commission.
Dragonfly Gallery opens its 13th season with its annual flower art show.
The opening reception for the flower art show will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dragonfly Gallery, 91 Dukes County avenue, located in the Dukes County arts district of Oak Bluffs. The show runs from May 8 through May 18.
Pangea Day
Martha’s Vineyard will be linked to locations as diverse as Cairo, Kigali, London and Rio de Janeiro tomorrow, Saturday, May 10, when the Capawock Theatre in Vineyard Haven joins the Pangea Day program.
Internationally, sites will be linked live to produce a program of powerful films, speakers and uplifting music. Inspirational films such as 2 Men, 1 War, 33 Years On; Combatants For Peace; and Dear Mandela will be shown, along with performances by musicians including Sir Bob Geldof, Dave Stewart and Hypernova.
