Sail Martha’s Vineyard will change its headquarters to the Tisbury Marketplace next month. The new offices will be on the second floor of the building occupied by Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard. The nonprofit provides instruction to Island youth.

The winds are rising and the temperatures are dropping, telling Holmes Hole sailors that they don't have much more time on the water. One by one skippers are calling in to say that they have put up sails and are done for the season.

The Vineyard Haven Yacht Club earned a silver medal during competition in the United States Adult Sailing Championship on Sept. 27. The fleet racing competition, better known as the Mallory Cup, featured J22 boats.

Beautiful October weather and the Holmes Hole Sailing Association fall racing series continued in lock step last Sunday. Eight boats came to the line to take on a sunny Harbor Course 1 in a building westerly breeze.
