It was all hands on deck, or rather the water, as the Hokule’a entered Vineyard Haven Harbor Tuesday for its official mooring on Martha’s Vineyard as part of a round-the-world journey.
In an unscheduled stopover, the Polynesian sailing vessel put in at Menemsha for the night on Monday. She is due to sail to Vineyard Haven Tuesday. Tentative arrival time is 1 p.m.
Just in time for summer sailing, boater registration will be available on Martha’s Vineyard this weekend.
