The popular restaurant and bar on Main street Edgartown, will soon be under new ownership. Owners Scott and Charlotte Caskey have an agreement to sell.

A proposal from an Island contractor to redevelop the Yellow House was easily approved Monday by a town subcommittee.

Dominique Kelly purchased 191 West Tisbury Road in Edgartown from Bradford L. Holley and Aurora Lancia Holley for $1,296,000 on Jan. 16.

Edgartown is one step closer to having a new steward for the Yellow House after one of two potential developers withdrew from the process Monday.

H. N. Hinckley & Sons in Vineyard Haven could be sold at auction early next month if the owner is unable to resolve his financial problems.
