The Martha's Vineyard Veterans Transitional and Affordable Housing Committee, is grateful that the town of Oak Bluffs has designated a parcel of land to build 12 units of housing for Island veterans.
In the late spring, Rev. Chip Seadale, the rector at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, called a meeting to brainstorm ideas that would be useful to the Ukrainians in their time of need.
My wife Susan and I are currently in Amsterdam, visiting friends and celebrating the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons.
