We have another adoption to report. Turnip, the tuxedo kitten, has found her forever home. And Tink, the young black cat, has gone home as well. It’s been a good week.
Abbie and Lyle Zell, of West Tisbury, announce the birth of a daughter, Virginia (Ginny) Jane Collins Zell, born on Sept. 8 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Ginny weighed 5 pounds, 7.5 ounces at birth.
Kayla and Kevin Hennigan, of Newton, announce the birth of a daugher, Cliana Maeve Hennigan, born on Sept. 4 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Cliana weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces at birth.

The 23rd annual NAACP George V. Tankard Jr. memorial 5K road race and walk takes place Saturday, Sept. 20 with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21.
