Evan Kristal is a recipient of this year’s state track coaches association Frank Kelley Adversity Award, recognizing student athletes who have overcome diverse hardships, including physical and mental disabilities, to successfully compete at the high school level.
In a tribute to Cathy Brannen, a new mural is being created in the children's room of the West Tisbury library. The mural is filled with many of Mrs. Brannen's favorite storybook characters and is a gift from her friends in London, where she lived for four years.
