Classic movie buffs have plenty to love about the Vineyard in winter. Nearly every night of the week either a library or the playhouse offers a free movie.

Shelagh Hackett, Paul Munafo, Kenny Romero and Molly Conole are working on a 24-song cabaret at the Vineyard Playhouse, a reunion for the four singers. Wicked Good Cabaret takes place Saturday, Jan. 24.
A celebration of Island cats and dogs is currently on display in the Spotlight Gallery at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. The exhibit, which runs through Jan. 28, showcases the role of pets in the lives of Islanders since the mid 19th century.
