The Vineyard Haven athletic facility is offering reduced winter rates for both walk-in and longterm memberships. One-month memberships are $89; three months, $199, and day passes just $12. Turkey Burner Day
The YMCA feels the pain of your extended stomach. So much turkey, potatoes, stuffing, brussels sprouts (maybe?) and on and on. So what’s a beached whale supposed to do? Burn turkey, burn.
Free of charge, the Y is celebrating its second annual Turkey Burner Day on Friday, Nov. 25. What this means is you can sample all the Y has to offer, from the pool to exercise equipment and exercise classes, for free. The free child watch is also available.

CPR Classes
American Heart Association CPR and first aid training courses will take place Nov. 15 to 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mansion House in Vineyard Haven.
These CPR and first-aid courses follow the new American Heart Association standards in CPR, and are appropriate for the general public.
