Officials are urging residents to come to Sept. 16 town meeting so the town can handle the short, but important, warrant.

Chilmark town officials are hoping they can get through to cellular providers about the lack of signal in the up-Island community. 

Nevin Sayre completed his Island-wide sail Friday afternoon, traversing the perimeter of the Vineyard on a wing foil. The 55-mile trip took under five hours and raised over $45,000 for Community Services.
