This Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. artist Teresa Yuan will hold an opening reception Island Art Gallery/Kennedy Studios in Vineyard Haven. Ms. Yuan was born in Taiwan but has lived on the Island since 1978.

Art competition for Island high school students sponsored by the Vineyard Conservation Society was launched this week.

On Saturday afternoon, the Chilmark Library hosted an exhibit of Phyllis Dunn’s photographs.

Artist Washington Ledesma opens his doors to let out the old and make room for the new this weekend as he hosts a spring opening event on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Sunday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A five-week art program for people with memory loss starts Monday, April 7, and will continue through May 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
