Blooms, beanies and baked goods were on offer at the first winter farmer’s market of the season, which took place at the Agricultural Hall on Saturday.

Hundreds of people attended the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market this week to show support for the pierogi vendor who refused to sell dumplings to prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz.

Alan Dershowitz, a seasonal Chilmark resident and prominent attorney known for his controversial clients, is threatening litigation after he was denied a half dozen pierogi at the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market this week.

The West Tisbury Farmers’ Market opened its 2025 season on Saturday morning at the Agricultural Hall, with over 40 local vendors setting up shop.
