Meg Dole and Seth Abramowitz are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Ayelet Fiona Abramowitz, on June 6 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Ayelet weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Her mother grew up in West Tisbury.

Randy and Julie Kann James of Maynard are the proud parents of Maxwell Christopher James, who was born May 15 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 1/2 ounces. The maternal grandparents are David and Mary Kann of Vineyard Haven and David and Jean James of Lancaster. The maternal great-grandmother is Edith Kann of Peabody. Julie is a 1991 graduate of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

Alekz and Garret Gibson of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Lily Marie Gibson, on July 19 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Lily weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces at birth.

Kristen and John Weber of Jefferson City, Mo., announce the birth of a son, Samuel James Weber, on July 9. Samuel weighed 8 pounds at birth. His grandmother, Mary Ann Brock, lives in West Tisbury. Samuel also is welcomed by brothers Sean and Jackson, and sisters Christina, Sarah and Katelyn.
