Junior Ben Clark notched two touchdowns and rushed for 141 yards to lead the Vineyard football team’s offensive effort Friday night as they defeated visiting Bellingham 28-0. The team now holds a 5-5 record as they head into the final game of the season, the annual Island Cup clash against Nantucket.
A spectacular season for the Vineyard boys soccer team came to an end Saturday with a 2-1 loss to Norwell in the south section finals.
“They need to be proud of themselves,” coach Esteban Aranzabe said after the game. “They had an exceptional season.”
The Vineyard boys' soccer team and their fans head to Taunton High School today to take on the Norwell Clippers in the division three south section championship game. Start time is 2:30 p.m., and the winner will advance to state semi-finals.
