The town of Edgartown and the Hall family have reached an agreement that is expected to clear the way for the town to take the Yellow House by eminent domain.

A superior court judge has ruled in favor of the Martha’s Vineyard Airport Commission in a dispute over the commission’s decision last month not to renew the lease for the Airport Mobil station.

Edgartown has the legal right to move forward with acquiring the Yellow House, a Boston attorney representing the town said this week.
