The Girl Scout Troops of Martha’s Vineyard would like to thank the gracious Island businesses and individuals who helped support the girls in their cookie sales this year.
On a Saturday night, June 6 at the PA Club, a group of guys quietly entered the building, amps and instruments in hand.
The sky was clear, and the waxing moon was in competition with the stars of the sky, the stars of the screen, and the stars of the Island, and into this perfect setting (or set) went Islanders in best bib and tucker to see the premiere of their very own movie, Jaws.
The glimpses that are available today of areas over which the walker of years ago used to travel with freedom and ease of movement.
