Budget issues, administrative responsibility and educational philosophy were all topics of discussion at the final interviews for three Chilmark head of school candidates this week.
Hosted by Vineyard schools superintendent Dr. James H. Weiss and the up-Island regional school district committee, the interviews took place on Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Chilmark school.

Alyssa and Eli Dubin of West Tisbury announce the birth of a daughter, Laina Elizabeth Dubin, on May 15 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Laina weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was welcomed by big brother Caleb.
Leela Joins Malika
Jenik Khelalfa Munafo and Hocine Khelalfa of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Leela Khelalfa, on May 12 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Leela weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces at birth and joins big sister Malika.
