School and community leaders have convened a working group to reconsider how Island towns share costs at the regional high school. A meeting last month saw little in the way of consensus.

Winners of the 2019 Best of the Vineyard awards will be announced on Thursday, June 6, at the summer kickoff event at Farm Neck Golf Club hosted by the Martha’s Vineyard Magazine.

The Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School celebrated its 19th graduating class in a ceremony today. Many of the graduates were barefoot, and all wore laurel crowns.

On Thursday Mackenzie Condon made history by becoming the first Vineyard woman to win an all-state championship. Then on Friday she signed with Harvard University.
