The West Tisbury Library is calling all poets for an open mic online August 23. Island poet KT Herr hosts the 6 p.m. reading, according to an announcement from the library.

If you would like to read at this event, sign up by August 20 at the latest and provide the following information:

• First name, last name, pronouns
• Where you live/where you’ll be reading from
• A fun fact about you, for intro purposes

Ms. Herr is therecipient of a 2017 Pushcart nomination and a 2019 Pabst Fellowship from the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and was named one of four 2018 Featured Women Poets with Punch Drunk Press, according to the announcement. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Frontier Poetry (OPEN Prize Finalist), Quarter After Eight, SWWIM, Pilgrimage Magazine and others.
