One of Edgartown’s most historic waterfront blocks is being reimagined as a unified hotel campus by the new owners of the Kelley House, a Boston-based real estate firm.

The Martha’s Vineyard Airport commission mulled a proposal for a food and drink vendor in the so-called tent area of the airport at a meeting Tuesday afternoon. But some members weren’t so keen on alcohol sales outside of the airport restaurant.

In anticipation of Christmas in Edgartown, the Edgartown select board voted Monday to extend seasonal liquor licenses through Dec. 13.
