This Sunday learn everything you want to know about classic beer as the Martha’s Vineyard Museum offers Pints of the Past at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs on from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Beer historian and master brewer Christopher Bowen will provide samples of classic beer recipes for the public to taste. He will discuss how beer is made and has changed over time from old England to New England and highlight local New England breweries, too. On Wednesday, St. Andrew’s Church in Edgartown is celebrating spring with their annual May 1 breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. The event took a two-year hiatus but is back this year to keep the long tradition running. The first breakfast took place over 50 years ago. In 1967 the breakfast cost just 99 cents.

The Tisbury board of selectmen will meet with producers and staff for the ABC reality show The Vineyard at their next meeting on May 7. At Tuesday’s meeting, town administrator Jay Grande said he and a group including selectman Jeffrey Kristal and the town’s harbor master, police chief, department of public works chief and Steamship Authority representative spoke with producer David Broome via conference call about general plans for proposed filming.

On Thursday, April 25, an order of nachos and a quesadilla can support a worthy cause. One hundred per cent of all food sales at Sharky’s Cantina in Edgartown and Oak Bluffs between 3 and 11 p.m. will be donated to The One Fund. The foundation helps those affected by the recent bombings at the Boston Marathon.
