Paint Corner Art Bar based in Cambridge is coming to Edgartown on Sunday, March 23.

Longtime Island resident Jane Farrow has written an Island cookbook. It is filled with recipes for the sophisticated dishes that Jane and her late husband, Ted, used to serve at their Chilmark dinner parties.

The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival opens on Thursday, March 13, with over 20 films, including features and documentaries, being shown during the weekend. The opening night film to be screened at the Edgartown Cinema's is Fading Gigolo produced by West Tisbury summer resident Jeffrey Kusama-Hinte.

The grand opening of the West Tisbury library will take place on Saturday, March 22.

Pulitzer prize-winning author Tony Horwitz will lead a discussion surrounding his new ebook BOOM: Oil, Money, Cowboys, Strippers, and the Energy Rush that Could Change America Forever.
