Sandy Stone-Benjamin fell in love with dance in the third grade, and later went on to perform with the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Recently, she opened the Spindrift dance studio where she teaches modern dance, jazz, ballet and tap.

In a tribute to Cathy Brannen, a new mural is being created in the children's room of the West Tisbury library. The mural is filled with many of Mrs. Brannen's favorite storybook characters and is a gift from her friends in London, where she lived for four years.
Comedy and basketball come together when the Harlem Rockets meet the MV Jammers at the regional high school Friday night, May 8, at 6 p.m.
