For 20 years, Featherstone Center for the Arts has offered a home for Island artists, making the most of its old barns and stables. But with a major donation this summer, the center is looking toward the future.

It was standing room only at the film center in Vineyard Haven on Friday night as Sharon Stone accepted the Global Citizen Award from Richard Paradise.

Hollywood turned back the clock Thursday at the Chappy ferry landing, as Memorial Wharf became a movie set for the upcoming film about the 1969 Chappaquiddick accident.
