Neighbors Roll Up Their Sleeves to Restore Ailing Sunset Lake
The sandy shores and clear waters of Sunset Lake in Oak Bluffs once made it an attraction in its own right. Now the Friends and Neighbors of Sunset Lake want to bring it back.

As high school athletes begin post season play, the boys baseball team topped the roster this week with a first-round win over Hanover, marking the first post-season win for the boys in 14 years.
Some 200 fifth and sixth graders from around the Island spent Thursday afternoon racing cars behind the Edgartown School. The cars were small, sleek and solar, built by the students themselves.
The 14th annual Relay for Life will take place Saturday, June 3 at Dennis Alley Park in Oak Bluffs.
The seventh-seeded Vineyard boys team goes up against 10th-seed Hanover Thursday at home. Game time is 3:15 p.m. at the high school diamond.
