James Reston Jr., journalist, author and former co-owner of the Vineyard Gazette died of pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, July 19 at his home in Chevy Chase. Md. He was 82.

The boys tennis team swept Medfield High School 5-0 on Friday. They play Dover Sherborn on Monday in the semifinals of the division 3 state tournament.

The boys tennis team continued its strong work in post-season play, sweeping Boston Latin Academy 5-0 on Wednesday.

The team has nine games remaining and referee coverage for only three of those games. A home game on Thursday with Sturgis West remains questionable.
