My vegetable garden is beat up. What wasn’t hit by frost last week was trashed by Sunday’s wind.

I finally purchased some garlic bulbs. I tried a few seed catalogues but found a lot of them were sold out.

I’m loving the change in the weather. I spent all of last rainy Sunday organizing my greenhouse. It is full of geraniums, mandevillas and begonias hardening off before a winter spent indoors.

I’m one of those more-is-better people. I cannot seem to have enough geraniums to rescue before winter sets in.

Timing is everything. I have a well at my big garden but no electricity.

Don’t be fooled by the miniscule amount of rain that fell during the beginning of this week.
