Vineyard Gardener
Tuesday’s snowstorm kept me indoors all day. I did not go to the market nor to the post office.
There is nothing like 40-degree days in January. This is especially true for us gardening types, when the temperatures correspond with the arrival of seeds.
It’s amazing that a 20 or 30 degree day seems downright warm.
Everyone’s spirits seem to be lifted this week.
Back in the day I worked many a breakfast shift at the Black Dog Tavern.
Because the days are almost imperceivably longer the hens have noticed.
