Brooks Robards and Hermine Hull will visit the West Tisbury library on Tuesday, July 8 at 5 p.m. to talk about their new book, On Island, which features Ms. Robards’ poetry and Ms. Hull’s paintings.
The West Tisbury library and the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center are collaborating in presenting the inaugural Jonathan Revere Memorial Film Series with the 1939 classic The Women.
On a recent Sunday evening, the West Tisbury Library Community Room was crowded with people leaning over tables covered with white paper bowls. Each bowl was filled with a different kind of seed — some tiny, some huge, some fuzzy, some smooth, and in every shade of red, gray, white, black and brown.
