Phil Forest, the lead photovoltaic system designer and installer at South Mountain Company in West Tisbury, recently passed the North American board of certified energy practitioners exam and is now a NABCEP certified solar electric installer. Phil is the only NABCEP certified solar electric installer on the Vineyard, and one of less than a hundred in New England.

South Mountain Honored For Its Adoption Policies

The South Mountain Company in West Tisbury has tied for 10th place on a list of best adoption-friendly workplaces in America, which was released Thursday, May 1.

South Mountain ranked high on the list because of the generous benefits it provides for employees: $10,000 and up to four weeks paid leave per adoption. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption compiled and released the list.
