A team from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School is one of five state finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest. Approximately 4,100 teams entered nationwide, and five finalists were chosen from each state and Washington D.C.

The Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education voted Tuesday morning to adopt a hybrid test, to be administered in spring of 2017. The new test will be the first overhaul of standardized tests in nearly two decades.
