The Vineyard girls soccer team has picked up right where they left off last season, dominating their opponents by way of relentless attack and near-impenetrable defense.

On Friday, under the lights on a crisp early-fall night, the Vineyard football team defeated the Lunenburg Knights 16-3 to improve their record to 2-1.

With the turn of the calendar comes the return of fall high school sports on the Vineyard. And after last's year strong showing, the hype has returned, too.

The Vineyard boys tennis team is on to the next round of the playoffs after sweeping Ludlow 5-0 Friday afternoon on their home court.
