Due to rising costs, the streetscape renovation project at Healey Square and Kennebec avenue in Oak Bluffs is facing cost-cutting measures.

Plans for phase two of streetscape, the wide-ranging Oak Bluffs downtown revitalization project, are underway with an expected completion date of May 2023.

Just in time for the 2022 summer season, the $1.64 million Circuit avenue portion of the Oak Bluffs streetscape project is open for business.

The Oak Bluffs select board voted 4-0 to approve Ivory Silk Lilac trees to line Circuit avenue after a recommendation from Polly Hill Arboretum executive director Tim Boland.
