Fresh off their Italian debut, the Martha’s Vineyard Minnesingers are back and excited to perform for their “favorite audience” director Janis Wightman said.

The high school Minnesingers have been busy preparing for this weekend’s spring concert, which features choreography set to music from Oscar nominated and winning films. Performances are Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Minnesingers travel to Europe on April 14 for a Spain concert tour.

Most everyone knows the Minnesingers can sing and put on a great show. For years they have held concerts that enthrall. But they can bring home the bacon, too.

Locally raised and harvested foods are the focus in a champagne brunch and silent art auction on Sunday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
