Edgartown Promotes Ryan Ruley to Sergeant
The Edgartown police department has promoted officer Ryan Ruley to sergeant, after the longtime law enforcement official and Oak Bluffs selectman came out tops in a lengthy hiring process.

After three interviews and a brief deliberation, Edgartown selectmen chose Karen Medeiros as their new town clerk on Monday. Mrs. Medeiros has worked as assistant town clerk for the past 27 years.
Efforts to replace and move approximately 11 telephone poles off of newly-paved Meetinghouse Way in Edgartown are set to finish up next week.
