For those of us who love good food, 2025 on Martha’s Vineyard was kind to us.

Cookies, cocoa and holiday cheer sprinkled the Grange Hall Sunday afternoon at the Great Vineyard Cookie Sale, a fundraiser organized to help Martha’s Vineyard Community Services. 

In August, Susie Middleton, editor of Cook the Vineyard, was diagnosed with alpha-gal, the tick-borne illness that can make people allergic to red meat, dairy and other mammal products. She has now published an alpha-gal resource guide.
