Chilmark town employees will have new health insurance plans available to them for fiscal year 2018, the board of selectmen decided at a meeting on Tuesday.
The added options from the Cape Cod Municipal Health Group, Health Savings Account (HSA)-qualified High Deductible Health Plans, offer savings accounts for family and individual plans that employees can use to cover their deductibles and other healthcare expenses.
Chilmark voters will take another swing this year at a rule to allow the sale of beer and wine in restaurants. A petition asking for the change was delivered to town hall in January with 34 signatures.
