The All-Island Art Show awarded Elizabeth Greene best in show honors for her collage entry. Known for promoting local artists since its inception in 1956, the art show annually attracts a wide range of talent.
Local artists rejoice. The annual All-Island Art Show returns to the Tabernacle on Monday, August 1.
Every summer since 1958, the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs has been the proud host of the All Island Art Show. Artists are on hand to explain what inspires them, even to the young kids racing about the Camp Ground on bicycles and scooters.
This week, some 87 local artists showcased their work along the walls surrounding the Tabernacle. The annual show features work in a variety of media created by artists ages 16 to 99.
