An ambitious upgrade for playing fields at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School was pitched to the high school committee this week.
Four M.V. United travel teams took to the pitch on a soggy, rainy Saturday last week. One team played at home while the other three played away.
The sports fields at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School were bustling this week as teams took advantage of spring sunshine to get into shape for the upcoming season. Play begins in the next week for the softball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, track and field and sailing teams.
The Martha’s Vineyard Masters Swim Team took second place in the small team division at the New England Short Course Championships.

On Friday, April 1, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m. the Martha’s Vineyard Figure Skating Club will hold their annual ice show.
Garrett Hagen and Gabe Nascimento scored the first goals for MV United U18 travel team in their season opener.
