The summer season kicked into gear this weekend as several galleries welcomed July with well-attended openings. At the A Gallery in West Tisbury photographers Ed Grazda, Christopher Wright, Brigitte Cornand, Amy Upton, John Zannini and Ann-Maria Stromberg hung new work. At the Field Gallery young and old danced among the Tom Maley statues outside, while inside Colin Ruel, Jhenn Watts and Kenneth Pillsworth were the featured artists. Down the road at the Davis House Gallery, Allen Whiting opened his summer season with his own landscape paintings.
