Islanders paid their respect to Lucy Vincent Beach, positive test results for the coronavirus reached 24 on the Island, emergency room and other non-Covid related visits to the hospital have plummeted, and a  letter was sent to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and senate leaders Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer May 7 seeking financial aid for the Steamship Authority. This was the week on the Vineyard, May 8.
