The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) hosted their 14th annual powwow at the Aquinnah Circle this weekend.
The celebration included ceremonial dances, such as the veterans dance and memorial dance to honor tribe members who died the past year, along with more jovial numbers, like the men’s grass dance, women’s leg dance, and the duck-and-dive.
